Part of Jane McCracken's exquisite series of works entitled 'In Homage to The Last Great Carnivores of Eurasia' this piece features a tigers skull and walking tiger, layered with projected images of Red Army soldiers and the tiger that they have shot and the snipers rifle. With layer upon layer of imagery this remarkable artwork provides and endless opportunity for reflection and admiration.
This work, as with all the others in the series have been featured in a number of solo exhibitions and are the subject of considerable interest from Animal Conservation groups and collectors alike.
Note: All of the pieces in this series were created on paper using just a ballpoint pen, its amazing what a Bic can do when in the hands of someone as talented as Jane.
