Part of Jane McCracken's exquisite series of works entitled 'In Homage to The Last Great Carnivores of Eurasia' this piece features a tiger's skull and a walking tiger, layered with projected images of Red Army soldiers, the tiger they have shot and the sniper's rifle. With layer upon layer of imagery this remarkable artwork provides an endless opportunity for reflection and admiration.
This work, as all the others in the series has been featured in a number of solo exhibitions and is the subject of considerable interest from Animal Conservation groups and collectors alike.
All of the pieces in this series were created on paper using just a ballpoint pen. It's amazing what a Bic can do when in the hands of someone as talented as Jane.
